Casey James Media Mentions, 3/2/12

Country Music News, CMT, mentioned Casey this afternoon in an article titled 11 New Artists in County Music.  Describing him as  “A talented guitar player with Texas roots (not to mention a great head of hair), James mixes soul and blues into his country stew, especially on his steamy “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night.”  CMT continued to explain that Casey’s single is climbing continuously and is nearing the top 10 on the charts as well as the release of his album this month.

Prior to taking the stage at Jack and Mike’s Brickhouse Bar and Grillem inBrick, NJ , Radio station WKMK 106.3 FM, Thunder 106 interviewed Casey on air.  Click below to listen in.

Florida radio station WQYK 99.5 posted an article titled Casey James Balancing Act.  Casey discusses life on the road, and trying to maintain a healthy diet.  As someone who typically enjoys healthy snacks, and veggies over fries, Casey explains that it’s difficult to stay on a healthy eating regimen.  He explains ” it’s just…it is very difficult to keep a good, healthy diet, really.”

    Regarding Casey’s healthy diet dilemma: I do have a suggestion. There is probably a fan club member in just about every town Casey visits and I’ll bet a lot of us are pretty good cooks. I know I would be happy to feed the crew for one dinner. We could take a fan-club vow to make healthy, home-cooked meals for those boys and not invite the neighborhood over to gawk. Whaddayathink, Casey?
