Casey James ~ Weekly Recap Ending 2/4/2012

Big things are happening as Casey James’ self titled album approaches the 3/20/12 release date. After 24 weeks, his first single “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night”, continues to climb the Billboard chart with a leap from #34 to #31!

Fans finally have a visual of the “Casey James” album cover after USA Todays’ Brian Mansfield posted it an article Tuesday morning. The cover showcases Casey’s attractive appearance, yet depicts him just as he really is. With a car seen behind him, the cover, like it’s tracks inside, is exactly Casey. Read our post here.

Saturday night, Casey and recently added drummer, Blaine Crews, performed a 13 song set at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, IA for an enthusiastic crowd. Visit our post to catch the debut of “Working On It”, which is an anticipated album track unfamiliar to fans until now. Casey also performed cover song by Tom Petty “The Apartment Song,” which was another first. Our detailed post continues to be updated with photos and videos of the performance, so check back often. Casey was interviewed by Crook and Chase during their weekend Top 30 Countdown show. Casey’s debut single “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night” broke into the Top 30 for the first time. Discussing the Opry, he explained how he felt thinking of “all the amazing musicians that have played on that stage and the history that’s involved with it.” Read our full post here.
