It has been awhile since Casey James tweeted one of his famous yellow notes to connect with his legion of fans. Last night Casey teased that he was working on a new one to update the fans on what he’s been doing since he put the final touches on his debut CD, due in stores on March 20. He told fans to be on the lookout and to check the blog this morning when we would have it to share with you.

Thanks for the update Casey and TCJB 🙂 I have plans of flying to TX, to check out the new band down there, I have never been to TX. I can’t wait to hear the CD and the new band. I loved the Grand Ole Opry! Casey was awesome! And I am really looking forward for the touring schedule. I love Casey James and his fans!!!
What i’m extremely impressed about is that he’s wasting no time taking control of his own career. His fierce independence is shining through, and the fact that he has the music knowledge and is rapidly gaining industry experience gives him the credibility to do so. Lots of people can sing and/or play the guitar but he combines that with the energy, ability and talent to write, composes, mix, edit … and what else is there? Whatever it is, he’ll do that too, I’m sure. Impressive!!
It’s so good to hear from you Casey and I can not wait to hear that new band at…. wait for it….Billy Bob’s TX!!! Last year’s show was so amazing & I know with the new music out, this one will be even better and I really don’t see how that’s possible. Thanks always for being who you are. Thanks for the update Casey! Its so heartwarming to see how your entire life is coming together just the way it was always meant to be. Love the yellow note….Wondering if Casey is going to be out and about this weekend here in Fort Worth. “Putting a band together here at home” he’s in Texas.. Welcome Home Casey….. I can’t wait to meet up with other Casey fans coming in from all over, and this time I hope I get to meet Casey…. I was part of the line of adoring fans that were told Casey has left the building… somethings got to go right this time…. Praying the CD arrives before 23rd. I’ve pre ordered from Amazon.com , and pre ordered from WalMart ….Can’t wait to see Casey again in Concert.
I doubt if his set will be as long this time my dear. That’s one reason he didn’t get to everyone. Trust me…he was very upset over that. I understand BB’s HAD to close, but it really bothered us both that so many folks left disappointed. Maybe there won’t be as many folks there this time too. Who knows?
Doesn’t seem that long ago that I heard the AA tour managers yelling to “get Casey ON THE BUS!!”. So someone would go fetch him. He would always be the LAST one on because he would still be signing autographs!

It’s amazing that he still can find the time to write a note with how busy he is now! I love hearing him call Nashville his home because he probably lives out of a suitcase flying to different locations to perform. I think he enjoys this music business. I’m getting to appreciate how hard an artist like Casey James has to work. Nothing this grand comes easy, but someday we will all be rejoicing in seeing Casey reap the benefits of all his years of hard work. A great artist needs to have exceptional work ethic and Casey James was raised well and he can handle this. Love him!!!

What a nice yellow note Casey sent us! Yellow is now my favorite color, I even painted my kitchen yellow! Ha! So great to see Casey has been back home working on the band. I hear that Blaine Crews and Dino Villanueva are both excellent musicians. I can’t wait to get to Texas in March and check them out for myself. Looking forward to seeeing all my Casey Sisters there! Casey’s fans really are the best, and I appreciate the way he always acknowledges us and makes time for us. The anticipation for the CD is really building, it’s going to be really hard waiting for March 2oth & 23rd to get here! Anyone have a time machine? 😉
a time machine…… and “ground hogs day” like the movie…. I could handle March 23rd repeating in a loop…. Casey Concert…. they say that time is relative…. if it is something you are looking forward to it takes forever to get here (March 23rd)…. but when its a date you dread it arrives too fast (ie April 17 tax day) ok Im really trying to concentrate on dreading March 23rd ……..it would be here sooner if this wasnt a leap year.. we have one more day to wait than a normal year…
I am so happy your you, Casey, that you are keeping your roots in Texas! I guess now that the CD is complete you don’t need to spend as much time in Nashville. I bet your Momma is pretty happy about that! Take care of yourself and don’t forget about little ole Colorado!!!

I wish I could come to more concerts, but it’s really hard for me to travel all the way from Michigan. I hope you and your new band come up and see us sometime! Wish Casey loads of luck with his new band recreating the album in a live setting. I’m sure they will Sound great. I won’t be seeing any live shows in the near future, but I’m really looking forward to receiving my CD, the down side living in the Uk is it won’t be delivered until the 27th March!

Thanks again for your visit with us at Margaritaville, my mother was so excited to finally get to meet you. Your performance at the Ryman was awesome! What I would like to thank you for the most is for allowing me, thru your music, to meet such an amazing group of fan club members. Thanks so much, Casey, for the update! Can’t WAIT for the album!! Just got back from Ft Worth…visiting family and friends….want SOOOOOOO much to go back for Billy Bob’s…maybe…crossing my fingers. Went to dinner at Bonsell’s and Let’s Don’t Call it a Night played in the background!! It was so wonderful because the friends I was with had never heard of Casey and I had already been “extolling his virtues” Ha!!! So then they believed how special he is when they heard him singing in the background 🙂
