Casey James Spreading Some Christmas Spirit

Casey James found himself in some very illustrious, and festive, company, as part of a country music All Star celebrity reading of the early 19th Century holiday classic, “‘Twas the Night before Christmas.”

Casey comes in about halfway through the three-minute piece, and joins such country music luminaries as Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, and Sara Evans in the retelling of this all-time-favorite Christmas poem. Earlier this month, Casey was asked about his Christmas plans, along with other country music artists participating in CMA Awards week activities.  Casey’s segment is at 1:50.

Casey was also recently quoted as saying how much he was looking forward to spending time with his family this Christmas.

I’ve got a small family. The core group of us is… you know, this year was rough on us — my Paw Paw passed away — but Christmas is gonna be a great time for us to regroup and spend time together. And of course, it’s all in the right spirit of giving and just lovin’ on each other and spendin’ quality time. So I’m lookin’ forward to that. It’s gonna be a great year.

Casey also broke out a little bluesy Yuletide number in the past couple of shows, playing “Please Come Home for Christmas.”  Enjoy!
