Casey James at The Wolf’s Acoustic Christmas Concert in Kansas City

Casey James took part in radio station WDAF106.5 The Wolf’s 3rd Annual Acoustic Christmas Concert tonight at The Beaumont Club in Kansas City, Missouri.  It was an acoustic, round-robin styled event with Casey, Bucky Covington, Gloriana, and James Wesley each taking turns on a song.

Casey opened with “The Good Life.”  But before he sang he shared some updated news about the release of his first album, which he told the crowd is now scheduled for March.  His second song was a very emotional version of “Love the Way You Miss Me.”  He then, after explaining his love of cars and driving, tore into the scorching hot “Drive.”  For his last song of the night, Casey played his single “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night.”  Later, the entire group of performers sang  and played Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.”

Donna Camarata was kind enough to call in so Casey’s fans could listen live.  Click below to listen to the entire concert.

Ummm. Wowww! That is the BEST version of “Love the Way You Miss Me”!!!! I am stunned by his talent! Casey never ceases to AMAZE me!

  2. KachinaDoll says:

March? As in *not February*? Because they’ve come to their senses and decided to make it a double album, right? Right?!?!?

    At least it’s not “soon.”

Delayed gratification is not my best thing.

  3. MNPeach says:

Thank you to everyone who posted these videos! One thing I especially noticed about this show was how supportive the artists seem to be of each other. It seemed really friendly and relaxed, which was great to see.
