Casey James Media mentions 11/21/2011

I know we’ve all been anxiously awaiting Casey’s appearance on CMT’s Southern Fried Flicks with Hazel Smith. Until then here are some tidbits from Hot Dish by Hazel Smith.

“Frank and Jesse James were from Missouri, but Casey James is from Cool, Texas, about 40 miles west of Fort Worth. Those Missouri James boys robbed lots of banks and trains in their day and spent quite a bit of time right here in Music City down on Boscobel Street, so I’ve been told.

They grew up with guns, but my new friend Casey grew up with music. By the time he was 13, he was playing guitar onstage with his mom, Bybee James, and later with his brother.

When Casey was 21, he was involved in a serious motorcycle crash. Doctors said he’d never play guitar again, but you can watch Casey’s video for “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night” and see that the physicians were wrong.”

For the full more of what’s to come from Casey’s visit go here.

Casey is also mentioned here by Nan Kelley on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.  We at TCJB cannot stress enough how important it is to vote for Casey, daily, on this poll.  Go here to vote. Please make sure you vote once a day!!

The site freezes up every time I get there so I can’t get to Casey’s name to vote for. I will keep trying, probably tomorrow, maybe later tonight. It is probably my computer.
