Casey James took the stage tonight at 9:30 PM to play a nine-song solo acoustic set at radio station KATM KAT Country 103‘s “A Ladies Night Out” held at the Fat Cat Music House and Lounge in Modesto, California. For an acoustic set, the crowd was very enthusiastic, hollering and yelling both between and even during songs! For more on this show, check out TCJB Discussion Board here.
Casey opened his set with “Drive,” a song he recently said he has recorded for his upcoming album. Next Casey played his newest, as yet still untitled, song which is known by the lyrics “(Love the Way You) Miss Me When I’m Gone.” This was followed by “The Good Life” and his first single “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night.” Then Casey played “Shine Your Shoes.” He played a Ronnie Bowman cover, “Jailhouse Blues,” then an original “Undone.” He finished it up with a cover of Lee Roy Parnell’s “The Rock” and then a killer version of the Tony Joe White song, “Polk Salad Annie.”

If Danny Gokey is Superman, then Casey James is Batman – because everytime I see him I think, Holy Hotness, Batman!!! Nice photo of the guys!! 🙂
Holy hotness…you got that right!!! I feel sorry for any guy he poses for a picture with. Even someone nice looking just gets lost in all that beauty!
LMAO @ Laura. And nice aerial view from Marie, you can almost see his navel. Thanks to the 3 or 4 unbuttoned buttons :p
Kidding aside, he sounded great on Jailhouse Blues albeit people are yapping again. Pretty sure more videos will surface can’t wait. Thanks Marie
Andy Gibson, Kip Moore and J.T. Hodges got the crowd warmed up (all fun to watch and very cute), but they went wild for Casey. It started when he looked the glass window from the M&G room. A lot of people left after his performance. Thanks to Marie for the video and photos!
Glad you girls had fun Cecil, I wish I had been there with you! Glad everyone loved Casey! 🙂
Thanks Marie for all these videos from the past 3 shows. It’s very generous and kind of you.
Wow, thanks for the Polk Salad Annie vid Marie, they loved him in Modesto! He was really getting into it, love it! 🙂
