Casey James Takes Part in “A Concert That Cares” at Camp Pendleton

Tonight,  Casey James and fellow BNA recording artist Kellie Pickler were the headlining performers before a crowd of military personnel, their families, and a limited number of additional fans at Camp Pendleton, California, for A Concert That Cares, co-sponsored by radio station Go Country 105 (KKGO 105.1 FM) and Operation Gratitude.

Casey took the stage at 7:38 PM and got the momentum going with “Drive.”  He continued with a song many deployed soldiers and those that love them can likely relate to, “Love the Way You Miss Me” (officially untitled).  “The Good Life” and “Shine Your Shoes” were next, followed by Casey’s single “Let’s Don’t Call It a Night” and the lovely “Undone.” Casey concluded his set with some oldies but goodies “Polk Salad Annie” and “Oh Well.”

One of Casey’s fans, Cecil (@blues4me4ever), was kind enough to call in so the rest of us could listen to the concert live.

It really was such an awesome show…great crowd, and the people at Camp Pendleton welcomed all of us. 🙂 I said I kind of regret that the only song I did not video was “Shine Your Shoes”…but was just having too much fun during that one, lol It was a great time and Casey was on fire!

You’re welcome. 🙂 Now if I can just stop putting my finger over the mic, like I did on the untitled song at the end, lol Getting better though, only did it once this time, lol!

    • Casey looks so very happy in these vids when he’s playing!! I’m sure he liked it that people were standing up and lovin’ his music.

Patti, your videos were AWESOME! … real clear, real good sound, not shaky. (mind you any videos that anybody takes are awesome). Thanks again for sacrificing your pleasure so we can watch too.
