Casey Playing the 96.9 The Wolf Concert at the Windjammer

Casey James played an electric (in more ways than one) concert tonight at the Windjammer, om Isle of Palms, South Carolina tonight.  He was joined by Billy Nobel on keyboards, Nolan Verner on bass and Johnny “The Clock” Richardson on drums.

The concert was sponsored by radio station WIWF 96.9 The Wolf as part of their “New Music Spotlight.”

Casey wowed the crowd with a dynamic ten-song set.

Set List:
Green Light Girl
She’s Money
Bulletproof
I Lied
Let’s Don’t Call it a Night
So Sweet
Shine Your Shoes
Drowning on Dry Land
Drive
Done Made Up My Mind.

The venue wasn’t optimal for the call in, but the audio sound quality does improve by the third song.  Thanks to Paula Blanchat for calling in! Videos

I wonder if he has given up on a couple of my faves, “Show Me a Bridge” and “Undone”?

  2. genilu says:

I also like Show Me A Bridge and “Undone”.

  3. Lulu Dee says:

Also love Show Me A Bridge and he does play Undone in accoustic sets, however he has stopped playing ‘Til My Guitar” which is one of his best songs.

  4. Renee says:

Really love Til My Guitar. Also really want to hear You’ll Never Walk Away again without the crowd disturbance.

  5. I think he probably mixes it up depending on the crowd and trying out new music from time to time so he can make some final decision for the album. So many song I love that I know they will not all be on the first album– but that means he will keep having to make albums!

  6. Delores Fields says:

Casey was awesome as usual! Had to fly for the first time to make it and was terrified! But Casey live is worth whatever you have to endure to see! Had a 13 hr car ride home afterwards and went straight to work and still haven’t been in bed since 7:00am yesterday but I’ll keep doin what it takes to see Casey perform and support his career. If you haven’t seen him live make an effort to do so! He’s worth it!!!!!!!! Nice to have met Paula and aunt sherry such sweet beautiful ladies just added to the trip! God ‘s continued blessings on you Casey!

  9. Aunt Sherry says:

Was so great to spend some time w/Casey. Met some of his incredible fans and a terrific time was had by all. Hope to get to do it more!!
