On October 7, Casey James and fellow BNA artist and American Idol alum Kellie Pickler will be taking part in a special unplugged performance at Camp Pendleton. Billed as “A Concert that Cares,” this special show is co-sponsored by radio station Go Country 105 (KKGO 105.1 FM) and Operation Gratitude.
Doors open at 6:30 PM at the South Mesa Event Center, Camp Pendleton, near Oceanside, California. The concert starts at 7:30 PM. The concert is FREE for all authorized military patrons. A limited number of tickets (250) will be sold to benefit Operation Gratitude. Click HERE to buy tickets.
Radio Station 105.1 FM is also sponsoring a call-in contest for some lucky fans to win tickets to the show (contest line # is (866) 479-1051). According to their website:
Giveaway to run Monday, September 26, 2011 at 12:00 AM through Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 11:59 PM. A winner will be selected each time when they are the 25th on-air caller unless otherwise stated on-air by the announcer. If there is a grand prize winner offered for the week long contest, the grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all of the weekly contest winners on the first Monday after the contest has concluded. 36 prizes to be awarded over the contest.
