Casey James’ “Let’s Don’t Call it a Night” Available Now

Casey James’ debut single is now available for MP3 download!

You can purchase Let’s Don’t Call it a Night on iTunes, at and on the Sony website.

Casey sent out this tweet about his new single:

19 Recordings/BNA Records issued the following press release:

NASHVILLE, TN – 19 Recordings/BNA Records’ Casey James will release his debut single “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night” tomorrow, August 16 at all digital providers. The Cool, TX native wrote the soulful song with Brice Long (Co-writer of Gary Allan’s Number One hit “Nothing On But the Radio”) and Terry McBride (Co-writer of Brooks & Dunn hits such as “Play Something Country” and “Cowgirls Don’t Cry”).

“When we were writing ‘Let’s Don’t Call It A Night,’ it really began with this sound we had on the guitar, and one of us said, ‘That just feels sexy,’ and it was funny how quickly the song came together around that sound and the whole idea of a great night that you don’t want to end,” James recalls.

James, who finished third on American Idol’s 9th season last year, is currently working on his debut album.

  1. It’s exciting to see the official announcement from 19 Recordings/BNA. It’s really happening!!
Can we also purchase hard copies from Best Buy, Target or Walmart? I’ll download it from Amazon, but I want a souvenir copy (or maybe several) of the real thing.

Shari/Marie – I have been worried that Casey won’t have as many sales on itunes because so many of his fans don’t use itunes. Just realized today that the song probably is only going to be released digitally? So if we can’t buy a hard copy (I am like Paula – I wanted one!), can someone walk us through itunes and how to purchase. I thought I had it all done, but apparently my firewall blocked it. I am afraid that lots more people will be hindered the same way (and I have even used itunes before, just having problems with some new security stuff on my computer). Amazon doesn’t seem to have it up yet.
