Two Weeks Away

It’s hard to imagine, but in just two weeks Casey James, BNA Recording artist, will be opening for the wildly popular Sugarland in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It was just over a year ago that Casey got the news that he had made past the tricky Hollywood group week on American Idol. He said at the time, “I think anybody that gets a chance to change their lives, there’s no words or feelings that describe it.”

Six months later, as he was set to embark on the American Idol Live Tour, Casey tweeted his fans, “no words, only love.”

We can’t know what Casey is feeling as this next stage in his life approaches. The excitement and anticipation must be overwhelming. It certainly is for us.

Hopefully, in the next two weeks we’ll be hearing details of meet and greets and other specifics about what fans who are lucky enough to attend one of these concerts can expect. Until then, we will reflect and reminisce on what has been an amazing year for all of us.

    I just rewatched when he was going thru the group sing during Hollywood week and he crys after he found out he had make it thru, hard to watch without crying too,
    You have come a long way and hope all your dreams come true, Casey if anyone deserves this you do. Thank you Shari for all you do and your wonderful way with words.

    I don’t think any other contestant, or not even any other singer, has ever had an effect on my emotions the way he did and still does.
